UNION Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint inspected the Film Development Centre and newspaper publishing houses in Yangon yesterday.
Union Minister Dr. Pe Myint arrived at the Film Development Centre of the Film Promotion Division under the Information and Public Relations Department at No. (50), Shwe Taung Kyar Street, Bahan Township, and heard reports on measures being taken to promote the film sector, as presented by officials. Afterwards, the Union Minister inspected Myanma Alinn Daily’s Advertising Unit and Book Shop at No. 58, Kabar Aye Pagoda Road, Bahan Township, Myanma Alinn Advertisement Printing Machine and distribution sessions at No. 53, Natmauk Street (1), Bahan Township, and Kyemon Daily’s Advertisement and distribution sessions, along with the Editorial sessions at No.77, at the Corner of 52nd street and Maha Bandoola Street, Pazundaung Township.
After hearing reports during his inspection of the two state-run dailies, the Union Minister gave instructions to the newspapers’ officials. —MNA (Translated Myat Thandar Aung)
