UNION Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint met with personnel from Myanmar Music Asiayone (Central) and Myanmar Music Asiayone Election Commission at the meeting hall of the Myanma Radio and Television on Pyay Road, Yangon yesterday afternoon.
At the meeting, formation of a group consisting of Myanmar Music Asiayone (Central), Myanmar Music Asiayone Election Commission and outside experts to draw up a charter of Music Asiayone, presenting the the charter to the members to seek their suggestions and approval, re-assessing and re-confirming members of the Asiayone according to the charter and to elect a new Myanmar Music Asiayone was discussed.
Present at the meeting were Myanmar Music Asiayone Chairman U Tin Oo Lay and members and Myanmar Music Asiayone Election Commission Chairman U Kyi Min Thein and members.
Earlier in the day, the Union Minister met with Myanmar Affairs Research members and experts and Myanmar in Singapore interested in Myanmar affairs group.
At the meeting, matters relating to increasing information on tax duties, training and practicing state and region government members on releasing information, establishing a Free Education Channel, establishing a Digital library and increasing cooperation with local and international people who want to help in Myanmar’s transition were discussed.
The meeting was attended by Myanmar Affairs Research Group experts U Aye Maung Kyaw, U Ye Myint Kyaw, U Zeya and 10 members of Myanmar in Singapore interested in Myanmar affairs group. —MNA (Translated by Zaw Min)
