Youth player Nay Moe Naing joins Hantharwady United

IN preparation for the new 2021 Myanmar National League football season, Hantharwady United has agreed on a deal to sign former Magway FC and Myanmar U-23 player Nay Moe Naing, according to the team statement.

Midfielder Nay Moe Naing represented Mon State in the Under-20 State and Divisional Football Tournament in 2014 and then joined Ayeyawady United Youth Team in 2015.

In 2017, he was selected as a professional player in the senior team of the Ayeyawady United, and moved to Magway FC in 2019 till 2020 season of the Myanmar National League.

The youth player also played for Myanmar U-23 national football team to help secure the third prize (bronze medal) in the men’s football tourney of the 2019 SEA Games in the Philippines.

Hantharwady United also recently signed Southern Myanmar FC’s goalkeeper Pyae Phyo Aung and officials also planned to sign another Myanmar U-23 player Ye Yint Aung, the team has stated.

Pyae Phyo Aung has played for the Southern Myanmar FC since the start of the Professional League in 2009 and has been selected for the youth and Myanmar national teams.

Ye Yint Aung has played in junior Myanmar national teams and has also been a member of the Myanmar U-23 team that won the bronze medal at the 2019 Philippines SEA Games.

Hantharwady United will compete in domestic competitions as well as AFC Cup in the 2021 season, and the team is building stronger with the talented players.
