A ceremony to sign an agreement on K 1,000 million loans to Ywangan Township cooperative syndicate was held at the meeting hall of Shan State Cooperative Department yesterday in Shan State.

At the event, Deputy Director Daw Yu Yu Aye of the State CD, Chairman of  the Shan State ( South and North) Cooperative Syndicate Headquarters, Head of the Ywagnan Township CD, Chairman and members of the Township Cooperative syndicate signed the agreement.

In order for the township cooperative syndicates in Shan State to stand firm and to boost their products, trades, and services, the Shan State ( South/East) Cooperative Syndicate Headquarters has been providing capital and technology to the township cooperatives, linking with NGOs and INGOs at home and abroad.

Ywangan township cooperative syndicate has returned a loan of K 94 million to the Shan State (South/East) Cooperative syndicate which was first borrowed for grinding and trading coffee to Thailand and Malaysia.—Zin Oo
