Sluice gate being built to protect some villages in Thanlyan from flooding

A sluice gate that can irrigate over 2500 acres of farmland is under construction near Dayzet Village in Thanlyan Township, Yangon Region, according to a source from the Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.
Rural concrete road opens to public in Hlaingbwe

The road measures 1944 ft. in length, 10 ft. in width and is 6 inch thick. It was built with about Ks. 23 million contributed by the community-driven project and local people. Residents in the village will be able to use the new road in all seasons with greater ease.
