It was built by Royal Steel Palace Company Limited at a cost of Ks. 258.20 million allocated by The Irrigation and Water Utilization Management Department under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation.
The new bridge is of reinforced concrete type and it will be 900 ft. in length and 30 ft. wide. The bridge has a 3 ft. long pedestrian walkway on each side and can withstand up to 60 tons of load. Constriction of the bridge began on 5 June 2017 with Ks. 2,700 million funds from the Union Budget.
