Senior citizens in border town get social pension

The Department of Social Welfare under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement has been providing Ks. 10,000 to a senior citizen above 90 years of age monthly under its social pension programme.
Missing fisherman from sunken boat found dead

A fisherman who went missing after an offshore fishing boat sank near an island in the sea about 20 miles southeast of Haigyikyun Township, Ayeyawady Region at around 5 a.m. today due to strong winds was found dead under the sunken boat.
