Hailstones that fell with rain damaged the roofs of about 300 homes in Maran village in Mogaung Township, Kachin State, on the evening of 17 February, reported village administrator U Naw Lard. The roofs of some 300 homes in the village, which is made up of 605 houses, were damaged.
