AA, TNLA and MNDAA armed groups were blowing up bridges in Nawnghkio, Hsenwi and Kunlong townships in northern Shan State, and approaching Kutkai to attack the town with heavy weapons from afar. But they fled with heavy losses when the Tatmadaw columns repulsed them, according to the information released by the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.

Fuel oil import down in current fiscal

MYANMAR imported US$2.7 billion worth 4.6 million tons of fuel oil over the past ten months of the current fiscal year, accord-ing to the Ministry of Commerce. The import volume is down by 440,000 tons and so, the import value plunged by $320 million compared to the corresponding period of last fiscal year.
